Patti has been an ordained reverend for almost fifteen years.

Intrigued by theology, its history, and its overlap with science, she has independently studied a number of religions. Growing up, she was surrounded by Catholic, Christian, and Jewish influences and identifies as a nondenominational Christian.

Patti recognizes that everyone's path to religion and spirituality is different and deeply personal; however, her view is simple: “In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you" (Matthew 7:12).

She has served as an officiant at many wedding ceremonies and has lent her support to organizations that assist children and veterans. Some of these organizations include: Homes for Our Troops, Save the Children, St. Jude's Research Hospital, Heifer International, and Murphslife.
